KARACHI: In a big blow for Karachi Kings, 13 players in the team are currently suffering from food poisoning. One of the players was also shifted to a local hospital after his condition worsened, sources said. “The players didn’t get sick after ordering food outside the hotel because it wasn’t allowed,” added a source close to the team.
However, the Karachi team management is hopeful that they will be able to field a squad for today’s match against Quetta Gladiators at the National Bank Stadium. Daniel Sams and James Vince also did not feature in Karachi’s last match for the same reason.

On the back of man-of-the-match Colin Munro’s quick-fire half-century, Islamabad successfully chased down the target of 166 to outclass the home team in the first match of the Karachi PSL 9 leg.
