Lahore: The 32nd annual URS of a renowned spiritual leader and Sufi scholar Hazrat Wasif Ali Wasif (RA) starts
The Urs will begin with the ceremony of laying wreath at his shrine at Mayani Sahib Bahawalpur Road. Former Provincial Minister Sardar Nasrullah Khan Dreshak will perform this ritual along with a large number of devotees from the local and other cities. A homage will be paid to this spiritual leader on the occasion. Special prayers will be offered to rid the country of its confronting challenges to the country and the nation. A special mehfil of of Darood-o-Salam will also be held. Mehfil-e-Sama has also been arranged after the Isha prayer in which Zahid Kashif Mate Khan Qawal will demonstrate his art.
A seminar on the personality and teachings of Hazrat Wasif Ali Wasif (RA) has also been arranged on 4th February in the afternoon at Al-Hamra Hal No. 1. Sahibzada Kashif Mahmood will chair the seminar.
