WANA: An IED bomb planted on the side of the road exploded in Azam Warsak Tora Gola, Tehsil birmal, South Waziristan Lower District here on Tuesday.
Malik Raz Muhammad Wazir’s fielder vehicle was hit by an IED blast.
Officials said that Malik Raz Muhammad Wazir, his son Salah Uddin and brother Niaz Gul Wazir were injured.
Police confirmed the IED blast and said, their condition of injured persons to be out of danger.
The three including Malik Raz Mohammad Wazir were shifted for treatment to the private Miraj Medical Complex Wana
As soon as the IED blast was reported, District Police Officer South Waziristan Lower Farmanullah Wardag along with the police team reached the spot.
On this occasion, the DPO said that the evidence is being collected, the police has started investigation in the area.
Remember that this is not the first incident that has happened in Lower South Waziristan Wana.
Earlier Malik Aslam Noor Wazir was also targeted in an IED blast, in which presidential award winner and prominent Malik Aslam Noor Wazir was martyred along with his two sons.
However, it is worth noting that as elections are approaching, such incidents are increasing.
