LAHORE: Punjab Job Hub, a joint initiative of the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) and the Department of Labor and Human Resources (L&HRD), has registered more than 400,000 job seekers.
This was revealed in a progress review meeting led by PITB chairman Faisal Yousuf, on Monday.
Acting as a vital link between employers and job seekers, the Punjab Job Center has played an important role in fostering relationships between 67,000 employers and potential candidates from the public and private sectors. This online platform serves various needs in the job market and acts as a bridge between job exchange agencies, promoters, and workers.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Faisal Yusuf stressed the importance of the Employment Center in helping and empowering the youth to provide meaningful employment opportunities. He said that this initiative would not only help industrialists but also empower entrepreneurs by tapping into various skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled manpower.

The online job portal available at jobcenter.punjab.gov.pk contains a comprehensive database of human capital from the public and private sectors. It includes skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled people, creating a dynamic platform for job seekers and employers.
People looking for employment opportunities or looking for public and private sector jobs are advised to register on the platform as entrepreneurs or civil servants. Job Center’s commitment goes beyond registration as it actively maintains a reliable database of human resources in Punjab.
