It stated that three police officers will work at a typical polling place, four police officers at a sensitive polling place, and five police officers at every sensitive polling place.
According to the Home Department, there are plans to expand the number of police officers at extremely sensitive voting places. At the 100 hotspots listed, officers equipped with specialized covert cameras will be stationed to handle any unexpected circumstances.
The Election Commission will review the final inspection of the polling arrangements, and special teams will be assembled for this purpose. Additionally, focal individuals and a monitoring mechanism will be implemented at the subdivision level.
CCTV cameras will be used to monitor the most sensitive voting places, and some police officers would have covert cameras attached to their uniforms.
