WASHINGTON: The US East Coast is being severely damaged by a strong winter storm that is leaving a path of devastation in its wake.

Over 50 million people, spanning from eastern Ohio to the Northeast, are under strong wind and flooding advisories according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
