DOHA: Mr. Jawad Sohrab Malik, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Overseas Pakistani and Human Resource Development, began his first official visit to Qatar with an important discussion with Dr. Ali bin Samikh Al Marri, Qatar’s Minister of Labour.
During the discussion, SAPM Jawad Sohrab Malik delivered an outline of the Government of Pakistan’s current activities and initiatives aimed at improving labor skills to align with and meet the demands and standards of the Qatari labor market. The debate highlighted both leaders’ commitment to encouraging and enhancing safe and legal migration of Pakistani workers to Qatar.

SAPM’s Jawad Sohrab Malik and Qatar’s Labor Minister, Dr. Ali bin Samikh Al Marri, agreed to create a collaborative environment that encourages the safe and legal migration of Pakistani workers to participate to Qatar’s dynamic labor market. The leaders reaffirmed their commitment to safeguarding the welfare and success of Pakistani workers in Qatar. Both leaders also discussed the establishment of more Qatar Visa Centers (QVCs) in Pakistan to facilitate the Pakistani migrant labor.
SAPM Malik is set to meet with Qatari corporations during his official visit to discuss and sign agreements aimed at increasing job possibilities for Pakistani workers. These accords are likely to have a substantial impact on Pakistan and Qatar’s economic development and collaboration.
