ISLAMABAD: Through the signing of a Letter of Agreement (LoA) on Thursday, Kohsar University Murree (KUM) and the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) think tank National Institute of Disaster Management (NIDM) formalized a transformative cooperation in the field of disaster management.
According to a news release, Vice Chancellor KUM Prof. Dr. Habib Ali Bokhari and Chief Coordinator NIDM Tanveer Piracha presided over the LoA signing event at NDMA (HQs).
The agreement highlights the two parties’ dedication to working together to develop institutional capacity and advance knowledge, skills, and innovation in the field of disaster management and allied fields.
It is certain that the partnership between NIDM and KUM will make a substantial contribution to the creation of creative solutions for disaster risk reduction and information sharing for disaster management, thereby strengthening their mutual commitment to building a more secure and resilient future.
