Dharma Productions came up with the mature comedy Good Newwz in 2019 starring Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani. The trip proved successful as the film became another success for all parties involved. The makers are now all set to make it a franchise. Dharma Productions along with Amazon Prime and Leo Media Collective have just announced the second film in the series titled Bad Newz.
But that is not all. They also announced the new star cast of this film in the form of Vicky Kaushal, Triptia Dimri and Amma Virk. In other words, none of the four actors from the first film will be returning this time around. So it is also certain that the film will contain a different kind of comedy of errors. The first film was about mixing the sperm samples of two couples.
Dharma Productions also released the video, which is a series of images featuring the three actors. It shows Vicky, Triptia and Ammy in funny avatars as the trio seems to be having fun. The film is directed by Anand Tiwari.
Bad Newz is slated to hit theaters on July 19 this year.
