LAHORE: Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA), also known as Central Business District Punjab (CBD Punjab), has entered into a landmark agreement with China Mechanical Engineering Corporation (CMEC) to foster cooperation for the major development of Pakistan’s largest IT city., Nawaz Sharif IT City in Lahore, CBD is being established under the banner of Punjab.
CBD Punjab & RUDA A high-level delegation from CBD Punjab and Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) led by Brigadier (R) Mansoor Janjua has started their visit to China. The main objective of the delegation was to give an overview of the Nawaz Sharif IT City and explain the important projects undertaken by the Punjab CBD. The main achievement of this delegation’s visit was the successful signing of a cooperation agreement between CBD Punjab and CMEC.
The agreement, which was sealed by Punjab CBD Project Management Director Asif Iqbal and CMEC Chief Executive Wei Guang, was inaugurated at the CMEC headquarters in China. This important event witnessed the presence of Assistant Director General CMEC Li Minglang, Executive Director CBD Technical CBD Riaz Hussain, Development Director CBD Punjab, Ali Waqar Shah and several senior officials of CBD Punjab and CMEC.
Asif Iqbal, Director of Project Management, highlighted the impact of this partnership on ongoing projects in Pakistan’s premier IT hub, Nawaz Sharif IT City, and the wider Punjab CBD landscape. He highlighted the transformative potential of this partnership charting a new direction for growth and development in the province of Punjab.
