Augusta: Tiger Woods saw his dream of a sixth Masters victory in sight after shooting a 10-under 82 in the third round of the Masters on Saturday – his worst score in 99 rounds at Augusta National.

After 36 holes on Friday, Woods announced his chances of winning a sixth green jacket, matching Jack Nicklaus’ record.
Forest, a five-time Masters champion, carded a 73-over par 72 to finish at 145 for 36 holes and birdied the fifth after a bogey on the par 3 when disaster struck.

“I just didn’t compete and didn’t play much,” he said. “When I got to 5, when I had a chance to turn it back, I immediately flushed three sixes and sevens, but I won on the wrong side and still had a chance to turn it back.”
Woods found the greenside bunker on the ninth, putt to nine feet, but missed another par to end a terrific ninth.
