Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan’s representative to the United Arab Emirates, was received by Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) at Al Dhait Palace. Ambassador Faisal Tirmizi extended greetings and congratulations on behalf of Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Deputy Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.
Mr. Tirmizi is looking forward to the extraordinary progress that has taken place in RAK under the leadership of H.H. He said the historical ties between Pakistan and the Emirates are important.
H.H Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi said that Pakistan is very close to his heart. He appreciates the diverse geography of Pakistan, from mountains to deserts and fertile lands.
Highlighting the country’s geo-strategic location, the ambassador said that Pakistan is at the crossroads of South and Central Asia, offering numerous connectivity and investment opportunities. He invited the business community in Ras Al Khaimah to explore this opportunity. Ambassador Tirmizi thanked His Excellency for facilitating the agreement between Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce.
N.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi said that the future of Pakistan is great. He said simplification of procedures will remain important to attract investment to Pakistan.
Seizing the opportunity, the Ambassador visited His Highness Tirmizi in Pakistan.
Both sides agreed to cooperate and facilitate business relations. The meeting was attended by the Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai Mr. Hussain Mohammed, Sheikh Dr. Hamed bin Ahmed Al Hamed and senior officials of both parties.
