LAHORE: The Pakistan squad for the tour of Ireland and England will be completed with four injured players: Haris Rauf, Azam Khan, Mohammad Rizwan and Irfan Khan Niazi.
According to local media, Rizwan, Azam and Irfan are on their way to full fitness, while Haris Rauf, who has not played since February, is still undergoing treatment in Lahore to recover his health.
The selectors plan to use the May 25 ICC deadline to decide the squad for the T20 World Cup in June to assess the players’ performances on this tour.
The report also stated that the squad for the Ireland series will be announced once the fitness status of the players is known.
A short training camp will begin in Lahore on May 3 before the team leaves for Ireland.
