SWAT: The Annual Sports Week 2024 at Khpal Kor Model School and College commenced with an opening ceremony held at the Swat Hockey turf in Makanbagh Mingora.
Regional Sports Officer Tariq Mahmood inaugurated the Sports Week by cutting the ribbon, serving as the chief guest for the event.
On the first day of the sports week, various competitions including hockey, table tennis, badminton, basketball, creative writing, and literary events were organized among the students. The Yousaf Shaheed House emerged victorious in the thrilling hockey match, while the Naseem Aurangzeb House secured the win in basketball. Additionally, the 200 meters race was triumphed by the Chacha Karim Bakhsh House. The students displayed remarkable enthusiasm and sportsmanship throughout the competitions, which are scheduled to continue throughout the week.
Speaking to the media, Chief Guest Regional Sports Officer Tariq Mehmood expressed his admiration for Khpal Kor Model School dedication to sports competitions. He pledged ongoing support from the sports department to the institution, emphasizing the importance of physical development alongside mental growth. He commended Khpal Kor Model School and College for leading the way in fostering holistic development among students.
