Muzaffarabad: Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir Chairman Uzair Ahmed Ghazali has said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir will protest against Modi’s visit.
In a statement on Wednesday, he said that protests would be held against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Kashmir on June 20.
He said the Indian Prime Minister is responsible for major human rights violations in occupied Kashmir.
“He is the man who ended Kashmir’s special status on August 5, 2019, apart from arresting thousands of Kashmiris,” Ghazali said.
He said that more than 13 million citizens of the occupied countries were deprived of all human, political, social and religious rights.
He said that if the rulers of India have a democratic mindset, they should create favorable conditions for a free and fair Plebiscite in Jammu and Kashmir.
Uzair also paid tribute to the people of Kashmir and said that despite the violence against India, the people of Kashmir continued their struggle for freedom.
He urged people to join the protest against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Kashmir on June 20.
“This protest will testify that Kashmiris do not accept India’s illegal occupation and its leader’s powerful visit to their land,” he said.
