KARACHI: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has strongly rejected reports regarding the formation of a disciplinary committee.
“No disciplinary committee has been formed nor has any decision been taken to take action against the cricketer,” the PCB said.
“The reports of the formation of the commission and the task of reporting are baseless and contrary to facts. The reports of bans and fines on players are fabricated,” the cricket board added.
There were reports in the local media that both the foreign head coaches of the Pakistan team, Gary Kirsten for white-ball cricket and Jason Gillespie for Tests, had recommended that the PCB avoid disciplinary action against the players and allow them to focus on the upcoming match. international season.
