LODHRAN: Late TV anchor Aamir Liaquat Hussain’s widow Dania Shah has re-engaged, she confirmed in a new video that surfaced on Tuesday.
Dania rose to prominence in 2022 after the famous televangelist announced his third marriage to a young man, sparking controversy.
Controversy further deepened when Dania was arrested in a case involving indecent videos that emerged before Liaquat’s death later that year under mysterious circumstances.
Liaquat’s first wife Dr Bushra Iqbal and her children filed a case against Dani in a local court in Karachi, which accused her of leaking the videos and later released her on Rs 2 crore bail in 2023.
Today, the TikToker posted a video confirming her second marriage to a man named Shehzad, who said they provide proof for those who took their union “for fun”.
According to Dani, she got married to Shehzad a few months ago.
Revealing the reason she remarried, she said: “There were so many problems in my life and I needed a mehram, a man who could support me everywhere.”
“During this time, Shehzad sent me a marriage proposal and I decided to marry him after giving it a lot of thought,” she added.
In a separate video, Shehzad said that people who called my marriage with Dania Shah a “joke” can see and confirm it with her themselves.
“I facilitated marriage and explained that you all should not indulge in love affairs, instead be [real] men, get married and show respect to someone,” he added.
