ISLAMABAD: Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has announced admissions for the first phase of Fall Semester 2024.
The last date to apply for Matric, FA and I.Com programs is September 5, while the deadline for MBA, BS, MS, MPhil and PhD programs is August 20, a press release said on Monday.
Applications for Matric, FA, I. Com programs can be obtained from University Main Campus, Regional Offices, Liaison Offices and Prospective Sales Points. For MBA, BS, MS, MPhil and PhD programmes, admissions are strictly online and application forms and prospects are available on the university website.
International students residing worldwide can also apply for Matric, FA and I.Com programmes. Additional programs for international students will be offered in a second phase from September 1.
The university allows international students through an online management system where they can submit assignments and take exams online. International students can download admission forms and prospectus from the university website at http://online.aiou.edu.pk. According to Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Nasir Mahmood has had 1,200 foreign students from 37 countries enroll in previous semesters, and the university aims to increase that number to 50,000.
