Islamabad: Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has announced the deadline for course registration till June 27, 2024 on CMS portal.
The extension applies to students who did not pass the math or FA test and received FER-1 or FER-2 results in the fall 2023 semester, according to a press release issued on Wednesday.
FER1 represents the first chance to appear in the last test, and FER2 represents the second chance.
Students can get information about appearing again in the exam from the nearest regional office.
The university has issued a new schedule for the examinations postponed on Yom e Takbeer across the country and in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. The now postponed Youm e Takbeer exam will be held on June 28 at exam centers across the country.
In Azad Kashmir, the postponed exam scheduled for May 10 will be held on July 3, May 11, June 29, May 13, July 1 and May postponed to July 14, July 2.
The roll marks given earlier will be accepted for examination and there will be no change in the examination centre.
Meanwhile, a webinar titled “Early Childhood Education and Development” was conducted by Professor Dr Fazal Ur Rehman, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Department of Early Childhood Education and Primary Teachers, Faculty of Education, AIOU.
Speakers included Dr Le Roux Gerturel from the University of South Africa, Dr Shalena Bhamani from the Aga Khan University and Pari Bano from the Rupani Foundation.
Speakers discuss challenges in early childhood education and proposed solutions. They emphasized the need for more research in the learning and development of young children. The webinar was conducted by Dr. Mubashera Tufail and many students and teachers were active in the event.
