ISLAMABAD: At the Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU), a four-day training program aimed at digitizing teaching courses for community instructors began.
The Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. Fazal Ur Rahman, presided over the inaugural session.
In addition to expressing his appreciation for the Vice Chancellor AIOU, Prof. Dr. Nasir Mahmood, for taking numerous steps to enhance the facilities for instructors and students, Dr. Fazal also noted the idea of digitizing teaching courses for community teachers.
Irfan Ali Ansari, Director of IET, along with Drs. Muhammad Ajmal, Tahira Bibi, Salim Iqbal, Kamran Mir, Muhammad Jawad, and others were present at the first session.
The Department of Distance, Non-Formal, and Continuing Education is organizing the workshop in association with UNESCO Pakistan.
According to Dr. Muhammad Ajmal, the workshop’s objectives are to finish digitizing teaching courses, guarantee online distribution, and produce 3D animation to help people understand community teachers better.
He thanked the Directorate of Information and Communication Technology, the Institute of Educational Technology, and other relevant departments for their assistance in setting up the workshop.
The workshop’s goals and objectives were thoroughly described by Dr. Tahir Bibi.
On Thursday, there will be a workshop closing ceremony.
