The minister assured all support and patronage for commercial activities and said that all economic sectors are open to entrepreneurs from Central Asia. He said Pakistan could become an important agricultural and trading market.
He told the businessmen that Pakistan’s private sector is ready to trade with other countries. He also said that the government will encourage foreign investors to invest in free economic zones and other areas to promote economic development in the country.
Abdul Aleem Khan expressed the hope that bilateral business between Pakistan and Tajikistan will further increase with frequent exchanges of trade and business delegations as well as strengthening people-to-people and government-to-government relations.
Businessmen from Tajikistan said that apart from promoting trade and investment cooperation between the two countries, they want to invest in various sectors of Pakistan’s economy.
