South Waziristan: District Lower South Waziristan the police force raided a notorious drug dealer in Wana.
On this occasion, the Mughal Khel tribe, along with all political parties, staged a protest in front of the police line on Tuesday against the illegal raid of police.
DPO Farman Ullah ended the protest on the faith decade and the protesters dispersed.
According to the report, after IIsha prayer last night, under the supervision of Wana police station SHO Allah Nawaz Wazir, a drug dealer named Riaz was raided and arrested in Mughal Khel village near Wana Bazar.
Politicians and residents of the area protested against this move of the police SHO, calling it illegal and a violation of the trampled boundary wall.
A large number of people including all political parties participated in the protest demonstration.
On this occasion, the protesters raised slogans against the police force, local district administration and law enforcement agencies and strongly demanded legal action against the said SHO.
On the other hand, District Police Officer Farman Ullah Wardag met the delegation of the protest on the efforts of Mughal Khel village Chairman Rehan Wazir, and upon successful negotiations, the protest was ended by the participants, the protesters dispersed peacefully.
DPO Farman Ullah Wardag assured the representative delegation of the protestors that an immediate investigation will be initiated against the said SHO and the SHO will be punished for the mistake.
The DPO added that apart from this, more action will be taken against the vehicles with black glasses so that black glasses can be completely eliminated.
He said that action against drug dealers will continue.
DPO Farman Ullah said that there is no place for illegal drug dealers, they should stay away from this kind of trap.
Apart from this, Chairman Rehan met with SHO Allah Nawaz and requested an apology to the Mughal Khel Wazir tribe for the illegal raid.
