Muzaffarabad: Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir Uzair Ahmed Ghazali has said that Indian Home Minister Amit Shah’s lies cannot hide the worsening situation in India’s illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K).
In a statement issued here on Wednesday, he said that Amit Shah and other BJP leaders were trying to hide the worst situation of IIOJ&K.
He declared the peace declarations at IIOJ&K an official lie to the world, while the presence of over 1 million Indian forces has already made it the largest military prison in the world.
“Indian rulers are constantly lying to mislead the world about the situation in occupied Kashmir as people are forced to remain calm and stay in their homes if they want to live,” he claimed.
He added that Kashmiri people are being killed at every corner by the Indian armed forces
who are licensed to kill under draconian laws in IIOJ&K.
Thousands of people have been killed while many others are missing besides suffering incarceration who are raising their voice for freedom which is their legitimate right according to the UN Security Council resolutions.
Ghazali said that India exists as an occupying country in Jammu and Kashmir and its status cannot be changed.
He said that the Indian government is imposing restrictions on local political and religious parties fighting for the right to self-determination on the political front.
“Amit Shah is trying to hide the war crimes of Indian soldiers and the world should know that Jammu and Kashmir is a disputed state to be decided by the people of Kashmir as per the resolutions passed by the UN Security Council,” he said.
He further said that the resistance movement of Kashmiri people cannot be suppressed by false claims and cruel acts of Indian rulers.
Ghazali reiterated that the time will soon come when Indian rulers will be held accountable for their illegal acts in IIOJ&K.
