The proverb “An apple a day keeps the doctor away” has been around for a while, but new research suggests that “an orange a day keeps diseases at away.”
Research indicates that heart conditions and nervous system disorders can both be avoided by eating one orange every day.
More specifically, oranges protect against heart disease, cancer, and stomach ulcers while also boosting immunity and improving skin, eyes, cognitive function, and hair loss prevention.
It is claimed that eating an orange on an empty stomach first thing in the morning enhances liver function.
Almighty Allah said in the Holy Quran, “I have not inflicted any disease on mankind that has no cure.”
Health experts claim that seasonal fruits and vegetables hold the key to the cure since they are packed with vital vitamins and minerals that help prevent sickness and promote general well-being.
Oranges are one such fruit that is in season right now.It is important to note that Pakistan is accessible to the average person as it is purportedly the sixth largest orange grower in the world.
Dr. Shazia Durrani, a medical practitioner, stated that consuming vitamins and minerals naturally through fruits and vegetables was preferable than taking supplements.
She responded, “Oranges are very good for health as these have essential vitamins and minerals, one of which is Vitamin C,” when asked about the nutritional advantages of the fruit.
She said that vitamin C was beneficial for the immune system, cardiovascular system, preservation of a healthy energy system, skin and eye conditions, and brain function.
It’s important to note that, despite not knowing any better, people used to eat oranges while lounging in the sun a long time ago. This vitamin, together with vitamin C, helps the body absorb calcium from the intestines so that it may be transmitted to other parts of the body and kept healthy.
One orange contains roughly 100 milligrams of vitamin C, or 130% of the daily recommended dose, according to research.
