WANA: A five-day anti-polio campaign was launched on Sunday in the Azam Warsak area of birmal Tehsil of Lower South Waziristan under full proof security.
Under the supervision of DPO Lower South Waziristan Farmanullah, Circle DSP Tehsil Birmal Mohammad Amin Wazir, both SHOs of Azam Warsak Police Station Zabihullah Wazir and Usman Mehsud, the polio campaign is ongoing under the full proof security of the police.
Anti-polio campaign in different areas of Azamwarsak, Kalotai, Kalusha, Zalai, Lewa Kanda, Upper Daza Ghundai, Upper Dana, Lower Dana, Kazha Pangah, Khawaza Pangah, Landi Doag, Zerghoza, Azamwarsak, Ashraf Khel, Karabagh, Malik Khel and including Nargasai area.
Police say that the polio campaign is going on in a peaceful manner and people are giving polio drops to their children.
Officials say that polio is a contagious disease and this will continue until its eradication.
