Muzaffarabad: A rally was held under the patronage of All Parties against the brutality and illegal detention of Kashmiri prisoners in Indian jails by the Hurriyat Conference.
According to details, a large number of people participated in the demonstration carrying placards and placards demanding the release of Kashmiri prisoners.
It also kept pictures of Kashmiri political prisoners who were registered only under the strict laws that apply in Jammu and Kashmir which is illegally occupied by India.
They also submitted a resolution to the UN Mission on the illegal detention of Kashmiri prisoners who were fighting for the implementation of the UN resolution.
The participants said that their struggle will continue until the UNSC resolution is implemented in Kashmir.
They alleged that India committed the worst war crime against the people of Kashmir to maintain its military occupation of the occupied country.
“India is targeting Kashmiri leaders in the worst form of retaliation to stop the free movement of Kashmiris,” he said.
The speakers said that India had tried to destroy the morale of Kashmiri people by executing Maqbool Butt and Mohammad Afzal Guru.
The Modi government is believed to be jailing Kashmiri freedom fighters to deprive them of their right to self-determination.
AJC chairman Latif Akbar said that international human rights organizations should play a role in freeing Kashmiri prisoners.
“There can be no lasting peace in South Asia until the Kashmir issue is resolved justly.”
The rally was led by all parties Gurriat Conference Ghulam Muhammad Sufi, Raja Hadim Hussain, Uzair Ahmed Ghazali, Zahid Sufi, Mushtaq Ahmed Butt, Zahid Ashraf, Mushtaq-ul-Islam, Chaudhary Shaheen, Ejaz Rehmani and others.
