Apple’s latest venture into augmented reality, the Vision Pro headgear, is said to have outperformed original sales predictions.
According to renowned Apple analyst Min-Chi Kuo, the business may have sold a whopping 180,000 devices during the pre-order process, grossing an astonishing $630 million over the weekend.
Min-Chi Kuo, a renowned Apple analyst noted for his precise predictions, initially predicted a modest production of 60,000 to 80,000 units for the Vision Pro headset, picturing it as a niche product for the tech giant.
However, Kuo’s most recent estimate suggests that Apple’s ambitious product has considerably exceeded these expectations, with actual sales lying between 160,000 and 180,000 units.
The unexpected rise in demand has caused immediate shipment delays for the premium headset, which has a steep starting price of $3,500.
