SWAT: Former speaker National Assembly and central leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Asad Qaiser visited Swat on Monday and met Provincial Forest and Environment Minister Fazal Hakeem Khan Yousafzai at his residence in Mingora of Swat District.
They discussed the party affairs and the current political situation of the country in the meeting.
Provincial Minister Fazal Hakeem Khan Yousafzai informed Asad Qaiser about the current situation of Malakand Division and the organizational matters of the party.
Fazal Hakeem thanked Asad Qaiser for raising an effective voice in the National Assembly against the imposition of taxes in FATA and PATA.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, former Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser said that Malakand Division is the stronghold of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and the people here have supported Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf since 2013 and given the entire mandate to Imran Khan’s freedom movement.
He said that we put the situation arising from the implementation of taxes here before the government and the nation and as a result, the fedral government was forced to give tax exemptions.
Asad Qaiser further said that we founded Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf to provide cheap justice to the people and the sole purpose of all our struggle is to establish the rule of law and supremacy of the constitution in this country.
“Our struggle to make independent judiciary and parliament supreme is still going on added that today our leader is in the jail only because he did not compromise on the dignity and security of the country and his efforts were to give dignity and honor to the Pakistani nation,” he said.
He said that Pakistan is ours and we belong to Pakistan. In the war against terrorism, our province Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been affected the most and the jobs of the people here have ended but the people here have not been rewarded for their sacrifices.
“This is the reason why the people here are suffering from feeling deprived,” Asad Qaiser said.
He said that our resources are not being given to us. The province is not being given their rights and now the federation is taking all possible measures to defeat the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, but we make it clear that our struggle will be within the constitution and law and will be for the development and development of this country.
