ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Atta Tarar on Thursday attacked the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) over the events that took place on May 9.
Expressing his thoughts, Tarar said, “PTI leaders and extremists have themselves posted videos on social media. You [PTI] cannot change the reality by changing statements now and then.”
“Everything was caught on camera that happened on May 9. It is an old habit of May 9 rioters to keep lying,” Tarar said.
He said: “A group that has been involved in attacks on the state cannot be considered a political party.”
A few days ago, PML-N leader Atta Tarar said that the newly elected Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif did not talk about political revenge.
Speaking exclusively to Samaa TV, Tarar said, “The newly elected Prime Minister has emphasized the reconciliation charter. Shehbaz Sharif also spoke about promoting national integrity.
“The prime minister spoke about all segments of society,” he said.
He stressed the need to accept victory or defeat in the elections. Tarar asked, “Did Ali Amin Gandapur have a chance to be elected as the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) if there was rigging?
“Pakistan People’s Party won the seat in Sindh while Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was in KP,” he added.
Tarar claimed, “Provide evidence of the same, if any.”
