LAMABAD: Minister of Energy Sardar Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari on Saturday announced that LONGi Green Energy Technology Co. Ltd. invited his company to set up a solar PV plant in Pakistan.
During a meeting with Zhenguo Li, president of LONGi Green Energy Company, the minister invited him to set up a solar plant in Pakistan, a statement issued by the Ministry of Energy said.
The minister reminded company presidents about solar potential in Pakistan and said that the share of renewable energy in the country’s energy mix is growing rapidly.
Zhenguo Li assured full support for solar energy development in Pakistan.
