Quetta: The Balochistan Finance Ministry has announced that the provincial budget for the financial year 2024-25 will be presented in the Balochistan Assembly on June 21.
Provincial Finance Minister Mir Shoib Nosherwani will present the budget in the assembly scheduled to begin at 4 pm on June 21, according to the notice.
A meeting of provincial ministers will also be held on the same day to discuss the details of the budget to prepare for this important event. According to the Ministry of Finance, the budget session of the Balochistan Assembly will continue from June 21 to June 29.
Along with the presentation of the main budget, the additional budget for this financial year will also be prepared and approved by DPR in this meeting.
Debate on the proposed budget for the next fiscal year will begin on June 24. The finance ministry expects a fierce debate between the government and opposition members and the final approval of the budget.
The upcoming budget session is very important for the province as it issues fiscal plans and priorities for the next fiscal year amid various economic challenges and development goals.
