Islamabad: Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has said that Pakistan and Belarus have cordial relations based on shared commitment to global peace and sustainable development. It is essential to strengthen the political, cultural, economic and people-to-people relations between the two countries for the mutual benefit of the people on both sides, noted during a meeting with the Belarusian Ambassador to Pakistan H.E. Mr. Andrei Metelitsa, who challenged him in parliament.
They emphasized the importance of continued cooperation to maintain a positive trajectory in bilateral relations and to explore new areas of engagement.
Discussing parliamentary cooperation, the chairman emphasized regular interaction between parliaments, especially through parliamentary friendship groups and exchange of parliamentary delegations, with the aim of sharing and learning from each other’s experiences.
