PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari on Wednesday hit out at the PTI for suggesting “distraction” from the same man who “taught” its leader the importance of upholding the Constitution.
Addressing the National Assembly, Bilawal was mocked by PTI-affiliated MPs and asked why his party leader wanted to hold talks with the military instead of political organisations.
“They don’t talk to politicians when they support the constitution,” he said. “The leader of the opposition (Umar Ayub) is speaking in support of the constitution […] they make people who are not involved in politics, who are forcing their feet.”
