ISLAMABAD: On Friday afternoon, a bomb went off outside the Mulla Khel Abad political party office in Quetta, seriously injuring at least one person.
A private news outlet said that police stated that someone was hurt when an unidentified person threw a grenade at the party’s election headquarters.
As soon as emergency personnel arrived at the scene, they started the rescue effort.
The office’s windows and walls also sustained significant damage.
The authorities erected barricades and initiated an inquiry to determine the origin of the detonation.
The injured individuals were first taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention; their identities have not yet been revealed.
