LONDON: Three British military horses ran through the streets of central London after breaking free from their handlers on Monday.
This was the second such incident to happen in the past three months, UPI reported.
Three horses from the Household Cavalry Regiment ran away from their handlers during an exercise on Monday morning when the lead horse was spooked by a passing bus, the Ministry of Defense confirmed.
The horses were quickly apprehended by Army and Metropolitan Police personnel and returned to their Hyde Park barracks, officials said.
Additionally, one of the horses was treated for a minor injury, but no human injuries were reported.
This incident occurred after four military horses escaped on 24 April. After being startled by the noise from the construction site, they ran through the city.
Additionally, officials said none of the horses from the latest incident were involved in the earlier escape.
