Karachi: Karachi Meat Merchants Association has announced the official tariff for slaughtering animals on Eid.
According to the union, the cost of slaughtering a calf on the first day of Eid will be $20,000. Meanwhile, the cost of the goat sacrifice is $10,000.
A reward of $40,000 has been set for the slaughter of the camel.
Nadeem Qureshi, representative of the Association of Meat Traders, said that the price for the second and third day of Eid will drop significantly, and the price will drop to half the price of the first day.
