Islamabad: The Sports and Culture Department of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) is set to start yoga classes for residents of the federal capital from May 02.
“The Ogaoga session will be held at the multi-purpose house in Sector F-6 and Mehran Gate near Baradri in F-9 Park to provide healthy activities to the residents,” he said.
He said that the Ogaoga class will be divided into two shifts: the morning session is scheduled from 6:00 to 8:00 and the afternoon session is scheduled from 16:30 to 18:30.
Officials said that citizens of all ages, men and women, can participate in these classes for free.
He also said that the Department of Sports and Culture will start training basketball, lawn tennis and futsal classes specially designed for children under the age of 16 in Central Sector F-6, multi-purpose field and Sector G-11.
He said, remembering the welfare of the people, the Sports and Culture Wing has designated 051-9201607 and 0331-5181508 numbers to ensure that the people face without any obstacles.
In addition to that, said the official, CDA is very important in promoting healthy research to the public, especially the youth, as an institutional priority.
He said that while tirelessly trying to provide the best services to the citizens, the authorities are equally committed to developing certain measures.
