ISLAMABAD: In an unprecedented achievement, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has recorded an income of 52 billion rupees for the financial year 2023-2024, surpassing the target by 23 percent.
Under the leadership of CDA Chairman Mohammad Ali Randhawa and the strategic leadership of Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, innovative steps have been put in place to increase revenue generation, its spokesperson said on Wednesday.
These efforts resulted in an exceptional withdrawal of 7.9 billion rupees in May and June alone.
For the financial year 2023-24, the revenue target has been set at 41.8 billion rupees.
He said that instead of selling assets, CDA is exploring alternative sources of income to establish a financially stable institution.
He urged the team to maintain the same determination and focus on revenue generation in the current financial year.
