Islamabad: Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Mohammad Ali Randhawa said on Thursday that the authority is planning to establish a state-of-the-art bus terminal in the federal capital.
He said this while presiding over a meeting in Islamabad with the participation of senior officials of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and CDA to discuss the construction of a state-of-the-art bus terminal.
Muhammad Ali ordered a survey to identify three to four potential locations for the new terminal, which should also be connected to all parts of the city.
He invited the CDA and ADB teams to work together to explore various proposals. The meeting decided to formulate an urban transport master plan for Islamabad.
Mohammad Ali said that the final recommendations will be submitted to the approved forum.
