ISLAMABAD: According to a news statement released here on Tuesday, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) unveiled its new website with the aim of facilitating the general public.
In this context, the CDA chairman, board members, officers from related organizations, and representatives of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industries attended a ceremony held at the authority’s headquarters.
This time, the chairman claimed that the authority’s use of technology will enhance the quality of services provided.
According to him, launching a new, updated website was a significant step in the direction of digitalization.
He went on to say that digitalization is also being applied to land and estate records.
He said that in order to lower the possibility of record tampering and fraud, CDA was using secure paper for the issuance of allotment and transfer letters.
The chairman went on to say that the move would lessen complaints about fraud, corruption, and the removal of accusations about record tampering.
As part of the authority’s technology-based activities, a tree management system has also been implemented. The cutting-edge Digital Trees Inventory software will serve as the foundation for this system.
In a similar vein, field personnel and satellite photography will be utilized to digitize all plant and tree data for the first time.
It allows data on trees and plants to be detected, along with barren land, so that Islamabad’s property may be kept free from encroachment and illegal construction, and plantations can be made when necessary.
With the introduction of a new online property verification system that will allow citizens to verify properties from the comfort of their homes and facilitate property transactions, the launch of the new website will further instill confidence in Pakistanis living abroad.
Additionally, all of the authority’s services will be offered online on the new website, saving citizens from having to visit CDA locations.
In a similar vein, the tendering process is now done online. In addition to increasing speed and efficiency, e-tendering will introduce innovation and transparency to the online system.
In addition, residents will be able to pay other arrears, such as property taxes, at home thanks to the new website. Similarly, the data on arrears for the previous 20 years has also been updated on this website for the convenience of the residents.
Every person will be able to access all of the CDA’s rules and regulations with just one click on the new website.
In a similar vein, a variety of CDA documents and forms are now accessible online.
Similar to this, reservations for events, photo shoots, and the Simly Dam rest house may now be made online in Islamabad following the launch of the new website.
In addition, the citizen facilities’ feedback option has been retained in an effort to raise the institution’s performance.
