ISLAMABAD: The British High Commission is inviting ambitious mid-career Pakistani professionals to apply for a fully-funded one-year Masters course in the UK.
According to details, applications for the prestigious British Chevening Scholarship have now opened. Tuition, living expenses and travel expenses are fully covered by the scholarship.
Applications are open until November 5, 2024. The scholarship is open to any mid-career Pakistani professional with a minimum of 2 years of experience. More information on eligibility requirements and the application portal can be found at www.chevening.org.
Applications are also open for the South Asian Journalism Programme, a short-term fellowship with the University of Westminster where mid-career professionals can hone their skills and meet leaders in UK journalism.
They close on 5 October 2024. As do applications for the Oxford Center for Islamic Studies Fellowship, where fellows gain access to leading scholars focusing on the Islamic world while completing a 5-month research project. The application deadline is November 5, 2024.
Chevening scholars have become prominent leaders in Pakistan. Successful applicants will join a group of nearly 2,000 Pakistani Chevening alumni who are leaders across a range of industries.

The scholarship program will continue to offer scholarships this year in partnership with Essex University in Climate and Heritage Studies.
All Pakistani mid-career professionals with at least two years of experience are eligible to apply for any course at any UK university. Applications are supported from individuals of all faiths, social backgrounds, genders and those with specific access needs.
