China’s top economic planner said on Sunday that he had set aside 350 million yuan (about $49.08 million) from the central budget to help with disaster mitigation and recovery efforts in flood-hit Henan, Shaanxi and Sichuan provinces.
According to the National Development and Reform Commission, the money will be used to fund emergency reconstruction of flood-damaged schools, hospitals, flood control facilities and others in the three provinces.
