ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Qazi Faez Isa has allotted 31,680 square feet of federal government land to Balochistan government to celebrate Pakistan’s 77th Independence Day.
In a letter sent through Chief Secretary Balochistan, it was announced that a 31,680 square feet plot of land adjacent to Quaid-e-Azam’s residence in Ziarat is earmarked for use as an environmental center for public benefit.
The CJ expressed his desire to offer the provincial government a land license free of charge and attached documents detailing the terms of the license.
He also mentioned that if the federal government agrees, this donation will be unveiled to the public on a joyous occasion on August 14, 2024.
The donation of land for the Environmental Center was officially declared in a letter signed by Qazi Azmat Isa and Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa.
Copies of the letter were also sent to the President of Pakistan, Prime Minister of Pakistan, Government of Balochistan and Chief Minister of Balochistan.
