Islamabad: Prime Minister’s Youth Program (PMYP) Chairman Rana Mashood Ahmed Khan on Wednesday reiterated the government’s commitment to support youth-led initiatives and promote cooperation with academics, development programs and GYM clubs to ensure sustainable urban development in Pakistan.
Speaking at a seminar on “Green Solutions for Cities” organized by COMSATS University, he said that youths have joined GYM clubs to help them solve environmental problems and bring about positive changes in their communities. It was created by the Prime Minister’s Youth Program in 137 public universities to sensitize youth to climate change and the eco-innovation needed to overcome climate change.
