Peshawar: KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur on Wednesday said that the federal government will not allow funds for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa development projects.
“They [the Centre] are harming our rights. They cannot deprive our province of their rights,” the prime minister told reporters in Peshawar.
Gandapur said that the provincial government was not a problem for PTI and recalled that during the PTI government at the centre, electricity was 16 dollars per unit but now it is 64 dollars per unit.
He asked where the money collected from the electricity bill was.
The prime minister blamed the federal government for failing to present a budget for the next financial year.
Gandapur also announced plans to protest and said, “Our preparations for the protest are complete.”
“There is nothing there. We have said this before. All the cases registered against us are false. We will be held accountable,” said the Prime Minister on the issue of encryption.
Meanwhile, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur inaugurated the Central Park consisting of 266 canals at Regi Model Town on Wednesday.
According to a statement issued by the CM’s Secretariat, the Central Park has been completed at a cost of $110 million and consists of four large lawns spanning 491,692 square meters, 1.5 km long and 710 meters long.
The parking lot can accommodate more than 150 vehicles, the park has umbrella tents, dusters, benches, garden lights, various types of fruit and ornamental plants, and separate bathrooms for men, women and individuals.
A bird sanctuary has also been established in the center of the park where peacocks, herons and other birds are kept to attract visitors.
