Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Wednesday called upon people to create awareness about thalassemia.
Expressing his thoughts on World Thalassemia Day, CM Maryam said: “It is painful for thalassemia patients to go through the process of blood transfusion.”
She said: “Every thalassemia deserves special attention from society.”
“Thalassemia patients can be helped through blood donation,” said CM Maryam.
She said: “We have to reaffirm our commitment to make Pakistan free from thalassemia.”
– CM Maryam praises fire fighters –
A few days ago, CM Maryam had praised the firefighters on Saturday.
Expressing his thoughts on the occasion of International Firefighters Day, CM Maryam said: “Those who do not risk their lives to save the lives of others are the true heroes.”
CM Maryam emphasized the importance of taking precautionary measures to prevent fire incidents.
