Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Thursday decided to avoid such incidents from May 9 onwards.
Expressing her thoughts on the anniversary of May 9, CM Maryam said, “May 9 is the darkest chapter in the country’s history. Even the enemy could not do what the power seekers did on May 9.”
“People who are trying to weaken the country are being exposed. They [May 9 perpetrators] do not deserve to be forgiven for endangering the country to pursue politics,” said CM Maryam.
“Those who insult the martyrs do not know the situation [of the martyrs],” he said.
