SWAT: A high-level meeting was held under the chairmanship of Commissioner Malakand Division Saqib Raza Aslam to maintain security arrangements and law and order during Eid-ul-Fitr in Malakand Division. Deputy commissioners of all districts of the Malakand division participated in the meeting through a video link.
“In light of the orders of the provincial government, Commissioner Malakand Division has directed all Deputy Commissioners to maintain law and order situation in their district regarding Eid-ul-Fitr, implementation of Section 144, deployment of security in mosques and Eidgahs, cleanliness situation, traffic plan and cleaning of tourist places and this regards necessary instructions have been issued.
“Commissioner Saqib Raza Aslam told all the Deputy Commissioners to ensure the implementation of Section 144 on aerial firing, one-wheeling, and bathing in rivers and to cancel the holidays of all relevant departments to deal with any emergency.
He said that on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, special steps should be taken to provide facilities to the millions of tourists coming from all over the country. Commissioner Malakand also issued orders to all deputy commissioners to ensure cleanliness in markets, parks, hospitals, and other places.
He further said that the Deputy Commissioners of the concerned district police should make a comprehensive plan to keep the traffic flowing.
