Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Advisor Barrister Saif said on Friday that the government has abrogated the constitution by amending the Election Act.
His remarks came at a press conference in Peshawar, where he launched a scathing attack on the government, saying the government was robbing millions of Pakistanis of their rights.
He said the legislative process should be followed in accordance with the constitution, adding that first the elections were rigged and then the controversial Electoral Amendment Bill was passed by the National Assembly and the Senate without considering how much it would affect the Pakistan. in the future.
He went on to say that the bill was only passed to gut reserved seats for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
He also concluded by congratulating Arshad Nadeem for winning the gold medal at the Paris Olympics.
