The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Friday released a detailed report on terror incidents in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa so far.
According to CTD, 131 terrorist incidents have occurred in the province this year. According to reports, the highest number of terrorist incidents took place in Dera Ismail Khan, where 25 people were killed.
In the news, six terrorist incidents were reported in Peshawar, Bajaur and South Waziristan, 11 in Lakki Marwat, 11 in Khyber and 3 and 3 in Garagh and Mardan respectively.
The report stated that out of 59 police attacks this year, 49 policemen were martyred, 68 people were injured in the attacks and five wanted terrorists were arrested and 3 people were killed in various operations.
According to the report, around 22 terrorist incidents have been registered this year, and 2 dead suits and 76 kg of explosives have also been found in various operations.
